Super Organic Protein Breakfast Drink
This quick and simple drink is a quality breakfast that will get your day off to a great start.
You’ll find all the ingredients at your local health food shop – even in some supermarkets. Go organic as far as possible.
“Just like a milkshake – only healthy!”
Mix all the ingredients in a blender or with a bamix/mixer.
- 250 ml Organic Rice Milk/Oat Milk/Coconut Milk
- 1 to 2 heaped Tablespoons Whey Protein Isolate (Note 1)
- 1 Tablespoon Organic Extra Virgin Flaxseed Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Organic Black Strap Molasses
- 1 Teaspoon Organic Lecithin
- 1 Teaspoon Organic Tahini
- 1 Organic Banana
Optional:
- 3 Tablespoons Alpine (Natural) Goats Milk Yoghurt
Tips
- Once you’ve added your flaxseed oil, use the ‘oiled’ spoon for the molasses and it will slide right off!
- If you feel too full afterwards – cut down on the protein powder
- A good substitute for the bananas is a half punnet of strawberries
