Imagine how much better the world would be lf every one of us embraced the intention to leave every person we connect with feeling happier for the experience. It would transform our world. And the sooner the better.

Small things can make a big difference!

  • Focus on what you can control

  • Be more gentle with people - cut them some slack - you never know what difficulties they might be dealing with that you don't know about

  • Balance RESPECT for OTHERS with RESPECT for YOURSELF

  • Seek to understand others - what they're doing and where they're coming from - before expecting them to understand you

  • Focus on outcomes of value:

For example: A focus on building a constructive ongoing relationship - rather than a focus on proving you're right!

  • Phone someone you love - and tell them!
    - how much you love them, and
    - how much you appreciate them

  • Care enough about others to say "I'm sorry"

  • Step aside and hold a door open for another to enter before you

  • Smile more often

  • Say "please"

  • Say "thank you"

  • When you say "thank you" take the time to look the person in the eye, smile, and mean it

  • When people thank you, look them in the eye, smile, say "you're welcome" and mean it

  • When someone gives you a compliment, say "thank you"

  • Compliment others

  • Smile before you pick up the phone

  • Do some of your favourite things with loved ones

  • Do some of your loved ones favourite things
